Hoflaankerk - View from the tower

In July 1999 I was able to get into the tower of the Hoflaankerk and to make some pictures of the view. Unfortunately it was warm and hazy weather and the long distance pictures didn't turn out well. Even a lot of enhancement made them no better than this. In both pictures you are looking South West towards the city center.
>>> Gerechtsgebouw, Kop van Zuid, De Hef, Erasmusbrug, Willemsbrug, Euromast, Boompjesflats, gebouw Willemswerf. >>> Gebouw de Admiraliteit, Robeco, Generale Bank, Milleniumtoren, Nationale Nederlanden.
Looking East down the Oudedijk. On the right you see the "upper middle class" part of Kralingen (Prinses Julianalaan), on the left the "upper lower class" part (Avenue Concordia). The "upper class" is behind you (Vijverlaan). The "middle lower class" is far in the background (Gerdesiaweg). Looking North over the Vredehofweg and Prinses Julianalaan towards the Kralingse Plas (artificial lake). In the distance the appartment buildings of Ommoord are faintly visible. The row of 1850 houses is typical for older parts of Rotterdam.
